September was a solid and strong month for both home and condo sales. Buyers showed up ready to purchase and I saw more bidding wars than in July and August.
Detached home prices climbed by $22,000, townhomes were up $13,000 and condos climbed $18,000 from a month ago.
I am expecting market activity to stay strong in October and then start the normal leveling off as we head into November and December.
Key Insights for Buyers:
There is plenty of inventory on the market. Buyers will have lots of option in October and it is a great time to buy as competition starts to level off for the year.
Key Insights for Sellers:
Sellers can expect their home or condo to sell in 1-4 weeks. Selling prices were strong and slightly up on a month to month comparison (August 2021 to September 2021)
